(Spend) One Night @ Call Center

Prologue
Sincere thanks to my friends Sathiyan, Varadarajan who insisted that i read this book... the net effect is that i am now reading FPS Five Point Someone - Chetan's first book.
Man, i was impressed by the guy... his subtle sarcasm, his creativity in coining words.... (then the deadly combo of IIT & IIM) the list goes on...

(Spend) One Night @ Call Center...
Cross selling should be a concept that Chetan would have learnt during his stay at IIM... which he has used effectively both in the prologue and epilogue..... The call center concept amused me, the setup which most of us would have heard but not seen. When u begin One night at Call Center, u start travelling in a train along with author who later prefers to narrate the story through one of his characters Shyam.
Shyam, Vroom, Priyanka, Esha, Radhika and Military Uncle work for the WASG in Connexions. Their manager 'Bakshi' has spent all his degree and efforts simply to earn the wrath of his team and stands as an example as to how a manager should not be. Each of the six have different priorities, family setup, aspirations and 'sad past' as well. It was delightful to read how their eight hours at the call center change their life, redefines their life, energises them (and us as well).
Chetan Bhagat despite being a MBA grad himself has taken adequate measure in highlighting all the jargons that you can come across in a B-School via Bakshi...... Though it was dramatic towards the end like watching a movie, the tempo made it a good read.

Epilogue
The book has got a good potential of being made into a Blockbuster - If the director can handle the God factor carefully.
