Great Wall of India

Its cricketing season again.... India playing against the arch rivals Pakistan captained by Rahul Dravid - Great Wall of India (The Gentleman with a warm smile).

Unlike the Great Wall of China, which took Emperor Qin Shihuang to complete the humongous structure with earth, stones and wood, The Great Wall of India was simply built on Confidence that comes out sheer adroitness, Perseverance, Team Spirit, Staying Cool, Humility with the right mix of Killer Instinct (Humility!!!!! Yes being humble takes all it could possibly have) and Credibility which will follow when one has the above attributes.

One good reason y i admire Rahul is his humble nature. Rahul Publicly admitted that he even nearly felt embarrassed by looking at the Scoreboard showing Sehwag in his 130's on a rampage when he was only in his 30's in the innings opened by them.

Its alleged that Rahul was not the intended opener. But as the destined person was under tremendous pressure, Rahul could empathise with him and he chose to open the innings which was simply suicidal in the eyes of the cricket lovers and Cricket gods like Imran Khan, Micheal Holding, Dean Jones... "Why would Rahul do this?- When it comes to his team, Rahul would not mind sacrificing himself" - called Nasser Hussain (Former England Skipper)

Invariably Rahul has gained the respect of all the Former and current players irrespective of the teams in the history of the game.

Well, the result is already out there... Rahul is the real champion (having won the hearts of so many across the globe)
